- Lower layer of hearth in room 30
- See context sheet for CH04. Lower layer of hearth more or less followed outline of upper layer, although the spread of reddish burnt soil was somewhat wider; deposit was very thin, 2-4cm max. The upper part of the hearth visible in the last surface of the room was more or less round; this layer was slightly more oval; and the layer of orangish burnt soil below was more or less oval in form
- Ceramic dates from 2004 indicate a 13th c. date for this surface (fragments of green-glazed jugs)
