  • Layer of yellowish brown compact soil with inclusions of clay, flat stones with sharp edges, with spots of greenish grey clay. Layer covers all the surface of trench. Inclusions mid-size stones, bones, ceramic, placter (a lot of).

Interpretation

    • Fill was made to fill the trench. Soil is similar to the natural clay layers between the bedrocks. So possibly this soil was taken from some construction (well or cistern) diring the time of it's digging.
