Description
- CH06SR0871
- Clay layer beneath stone slabs (0820) in SE part of room 38
- Small layer of clay used to fill around cut 874 in the bottom of cut 728. Material was dense and wet clay with very small amounts of ceramic and bone.
Interpretation
-
- This layer is what remains of an intentional filling around cut 874 - likely to help affix the heavy stones and tiles placed around this opening.
