- Struttura della tomba 1 di forma rettangolare costruita con blocchi irregolari e frammenti di laterizi. Non scavata. [28/06/2002] Scavata. [08/07/2002] The structure is of irregular stones laid in five courses. A few fragments of tile were found used like wedges between the stones. The tomb is of rectangular form (length 211cm; width 79cm; depth about 60 cm). Some fragments of lime mortar are visible adhering to the northern internal side of the tomb. The uppermost course of stones may well be somewhat later that the earlier courses, as it contains many fragments of tiles, perhaps used as wedges or for re-levelling for a missing covering stone. It is clear that the tomb was constructed starting from the north-east corner. On the other side of the tomb the corner blocks overlap with each other. Half of the tomb structure was built over soil, US 193.
