- Oxidized bronze coin - no design or rim currently visible on obverse or reverse. Heavily encrusted with corrosion and/or mineral deposits. Possible damage to 1 edge - a small chip off in a straight line.
- Rho monogram type. According to Anokhin coin of late 11th- early 12th c.
- Monogram of Romanus (Ρ Ω].
- Cross on steps with pellets on both fields.
