Description

  • Strike-a-light
  • Iron tool in the shape of a small stirrup. Found very close to a whetstone and two flint chips (possibly a handheld piece of iron to go with the flint?). Loop on top. Metal bar on base much heavier than upper section. Also, bottom bar is rectilinear, not rounded as the upper portion. Catalogued as "not intact", but both pieces present. Diameter measurement refers to the cylindrical upper component.
