Description 2 elements, contiguous. A carefully worked cylindrical section 1,7 cm long, oval in cross-section (1,2 cm by 1 cm) but with a 0,7 cm wide, ca. 0,1 cm deep smoothed trough extending the length of one side. Slight entasis to shaft. At terminus a 0,8 cm deep. 0,7 cm wide slot inserted with semi- circular base. Surface smoothed and rounded. This develops to a less well worked conical element 2 cm long, roughly circular in cross-section, ca. 1 cm wide. The latter appears to be a peg to be inserted in another object and not intended to be visible.

- At definition the context is 75 cm (NW-SE) X 1.05 M (NE-SW) and extends into the profile of section 2. The soil is compact and brown containing some ceramics, very few bones, shell and many small pieces of stone/eroded bedrock (from 5-10 cm in diameter). The context is also covered by a large stone that is in [extends into] the profile of section 2. Pit has very steep edges, is the depest pit in areas 1 and 2 and has a slightly conical form. In the bottom of the pit is a small circular cut that extends another 5-10 cm in depth (see profile sketch).
