  • Scavato solo in parte. Strato di crollo composto da grossi blocchi irregolari, particolarmente nell'angolo SW del vano. 1 July 2002: We have dug the entire layer -- the collapse was rich in bricks, animal bones, fragments of pottery and little roots -- the stones were a medium size.
  • (08/07/02) The layer is not at the same level in every part of the room, but in the central part it goes down. In this area is a larger concentration of roots of medium size and organic materials. According to Larissa Sedikova, this situation could be due to the presence of a cistern or something earlier than the medieval room.
