Description
- CH05SR0598
- Cut of contexts 593 and 562 in N courtyard
- Circular cut approximately 1.2 M (N-S) X 1.4 M (E-W) and 20-25 cm in depth. The cut has gradually sloping edges with a fairly even bottom surface (for bedrock).
- Because of the way that context 593 extends to the east (see plans) it may be that 593 and 562 were from different cuts. At definition it appeared that these two contexts had the exact same dimensions.
