- Bedrock cut, 44 x 40 cm , 20 cm deep. Circular, filled with context 460, Seperated from depression 4 by a wall of stones.
- Fill not distinquished from 460, same metallurgical debris, etc.
Interpretation

- Bedrock cut, of unknown function. Probably for metallurgical use. Very regular cut with smooth, sloping sides, perhaps another cut for a small smelting hearh, in any case likely to be associated with metallurgical activity.
