- Courtyard, small lens of plaster and charcoal adjacent to wall 265
- Dimensions of context at definition are 90 cm (NW-SE) X 70 cm (NE-SW) and approximately 10-12 cm in depth. Context was a little deeper towards section 1. Layer has many fragments of plaster, many 2-3 cm in diameter, and flecks of charcoal approximately 1/4-1/2 cm in diameter are also abundant. There was also a small bit of this context in the corner of section 2 and wall 50.
- I do not believe that the context extends under 0757. The quantity of ceramics and bone were comparable [in count/weight], whereas in most contexts ceramics outnumber bone. The bone was also large and intact,very few small pieces of bone.
Interpretation
-
- Short/small event in between the filling of the wall trench, possibly having to do with the construction of the wall. Maybe a couple of buckets of plaster or something to do with the production of plaster.
