  • 6 fragments - possibly associated with SF 3427 (found in very close proximity). Above dimensions of largest piece (A). PIECES: A.) Irregular longitudinal; no finished edge visible; piece narrows in thickness from 5 cm to ca 2cm. One face largely pitted; other relatively smooth with ca 2cm depression, d. 5cm deep, 3 cm from thin edge. B.) Roughly oblong - 20 * 10.5 * 4.5-3.5 cm; one edge appears regular, others rough/fractured, regular edge rounded in profile. C.) Irregular longitudinal; 13 * 10 * 5-3 cm, no regular edge; one face; rough/pitted; other smoother but pitted. D.) Irregular, squarish, 11 * 9 * 4-2 cm. One edge appears regular and rounded in profile, other edges rough/fractured; faces appear as in other pieces. E.) Irregular longitudinal 12.4 * 7/5 * 4 cm, one face appears flat but pitted, other faces and edge faces rough/fractured. F.) Irregular shape - 8 * 5.2 * 2.5 cm. one face appears to be part of original surface, rough and pitted but relatively flat, all other surfaces fractured

    • Brown loam layer with yellow and orange clay inclusions that extends all the way across the unit except for [the area of] the wall trench (possible) in the NW side (adjacent to wall 265). In addition to the abovementioned clay inclusions there were eroded limestone fragments (white and likely bedrock), several fragments and lumps of plaster (3 bags), and an approximately 6cm [in diameter] lump of greenish clay. Also contains many flecks of charcoal especially between section 1 and 2. Depth varies from 10-15 cm and composition is similar to context 0772.
