- Object (rivet)
- Ellipsoidal in plan; flat domical in edge profile. Heavily corroded and encrusted. Appears to be raised stud like element central to the face. Edge profile reveals 3 elements, sandwich like. The central one is plate with parallel rectilinear edges 0.3 cm thick, between 2 thinner (heavily corroded) sheets - suggests riveted plate

- Layer of compact brown soil with charcoal and lime inclusions along the E and N walls (257 and 394, respectively) in the N part of the room (cut 900). The material is rich in debris, especially pottery sherds, sea shells and bone. There are some bits of metal but not a great many nails or iron lumps.
