Description
- CH04SR0317
- dry stone wall between rooms 28 and 33
- see context sheet from CH02 for initial details; further excavation shows that most if the wall is actually in good condition, with jambs of large square blocks with holes for the door fastenings; on rm 33 side, the southern jamb has a hole in which a piece of burnt wood is preserved; the North jamb at a certain point was added to to make the door narrower (in conjunction w blocking of other door?)
- possible that this wall is abutted by 35, but the presence of a sill at the area where the join should be makes it impossible to tell.

Interpretation
-
- wall constructed during 12th-century reconstruction of block; jamb later added to narrow door perhaps to prevent removal of pithoi once they had been brought in, when the suite was converted into a store; sill stones may also have been added during the same period to facilitate security with a wooden door
