Description
- CH06SR0703
- Soft fill at bottom of modern trench in N end of courtyard
- Soft dark brown soil dimensions = 40 cm (NE - SW) x 45 cm (NW - SE) and 15-20 cm in depth. See 2005 sheet - also contained ash, small stones.
- Originally thought to pit excavated as 738 in 2005, bet in 2006 clear that earlie pit id'd in '06 as 771 - was filled with with separate material, as was wall trench also cut by PA173 - so 703 was over 770 (fill of 771) and 762 (fill of 763).
