• Definition Fine ashy gray patch in NW area 3 in courtyard
• Description A thin lense of fine ashy gray loose soil that is approximately 1M (NW-SE) X 70 cm (NE-SW) and 5-10 cm in depth. Most of it was much closer to 5 than 10 cm. The layer was irregularly shaped and difficult to define.
• Observations Allyson has this context extent on plan. Because this context and 0877 were so fine they were easily mixed, there was real difficulty detemining which context covered which. Finally a cut profile clearly showed 876 over 0877. However, there may have been several alternating mixed layers of these gray and black super fine soils.
