Description
- CH06SR0930
- Fill of circular pit connected to cut 913 in central Area 3, Courtyard
- Fill not differentiated in ATR notebook for description, but from memory - seems to ATR (on 7/11/07) to have been browner, harder but less clayey, little evidence of burning; filled all of circular cut at E end of 913, covered in part by 877, in part by 782 (?); material collected separately.
- May also have been covered by 883
Interpretation
-
- Deliberate fill of conical pit in conjunction with fill of rectangular pit, perhaps to prepare area for residential use? Differentiation of full suggests that square cut may have been filled while vessel still in circular cut, removed later.
