- Early wall under N section of wall 296
- Wall in large (25 cmt), farly regular rectangular stones laid in horizontal courses and chinked with smaller stones; 2-3 courses preserved - lowest sits on Roman stabs next to wall, and higest is covered by lower "orthostate" cause of late wall 296, which uses this wall as its foundation - appears to bad with 692
- Mortar saple 727, listed as from 296, might have been from this wall

Interpretation

- Wall of early Byzantie structure also composed of walls 692 and 607; interuption at edge of robber trench 841 suggests that the wall originally occupying that trench was still standing when these structures were built.
