    • Loose ashy 40 x 50 cm fill consisting of fine-silt-loam with a high density of charcoal and ash containing ceramics, tile, bone, and metallurgical debris. Potentiall the fill of a cut but excavation circumstances prevented cut from being identified. Instead recorded as a lens
  • Context: CH05SR_586
    • Pile of wall size stones, appx. 1m x 1.6m in N. corner of Room 33. Stones are intermingled with tile and wall plaster. Dense fill or packing. Subsequent excavation made it cleat that this is a more compact layer of fill, possibly from a earlier wall.
