  • layer of yellow soil mounded in small doorway of room 28
  • loose, grainy yellow soil in doorway and NE end of Room 28. Very high quantity of tile.

Interpretation

    • Yellow soil seems to have come from NE of room 28.
      • Not Recorded
    • July 11, 2005: this soil seems to have spilled into the room from room 33, and may reflect the composition of one of the walls of room 33 or its mud-plaster surface; there is also the possibility that this represents a modern disturbance. Originally it was thought to fill a modern cut, but in fact could also be interpreted as a mound of material on the floor of 28 covered by collapse -- in which case cut relationships should be discarded and relationship should be interpreted as 336, 340, and 349 all cover 347
