  • Originally assigned to room 32, while room 32 was being excavated, then changed to room 36. It covered the wall between these two rooms.

Interpretation

    • July 11, 2005: after full excavation of this room, we came to the conclusion that the whole room was disturbed, although we still cannot rule out entirely the possibility that some of this collapse was intact

    • Subsequent thought (as of 2nd July 2006) is that this disturbance belongs to the period immediately after the destruction of the block, when people may have returned to pick through the rubble for valuable belongings. Although the fill was very loose, mixed in its soil composition, and full of voids and snail shells, it also contained no modern finds and therefore should probably be understood to be Byzantine
