Description
- CH04SR0353
- pale brown clay layer; possible surface in room 28
- Pale brown skin-clay possible surface. Sticky, not many inclusions runs over bedrock in south end of room
- Some of the surface was missing in the south corner as dug through for infant burial, also we went through a patch of it accidently to bedrock just NE of main bedrock outcrop in SW end on SE side.
Interpretation
-
- compacted skim clay surface on bedrock

-
- July 19, 2005: probably equal to SR387, the beaten-earth surface of room 28 where stone pavers not present; relationship obscured by overcutting at edge of bedrock cut for basin; note also that although this layer is described as "cut by" the hiding-place in the wall in the paper version of the 2004 context register by room, it is not cut by that feature
