  • CH04SR0448
  • Very dark grayish brown "packing"
  • Dark grayish brown, clayey layer containing bone, ceramic, and some metal. Soil is "gummy"/clayey and was primarily located in southern half of room.
  • Originally identified as packing for cracks/gaps in bedrock - this fill was later determined to be SR468 after seeing the relationship shown in photo 263. The bags for this layer will include material that should now be with 468 (not identified until after some had been excavated).

    • "Packing" for preparation for floor/living surface (SR435). Also used for filling in gaps in bedrock.
