  • Dry stone masonry wall of room 38 - NW wall
  • Double course of roughly squared blocks and reused material (ashlar with anathyrosis and drafted margins; moulding; blocks with clamp holes); wall appears to be faced on both sides, but NW side not cleared during 2005 excavations
  • NW face of this wall on plan is dubious -- probably not all material was cleared from above that face as of the end of 2005

Interpretation

    • Original wall of room 38, constructed at the same time as the rest of the complex (first phase); the material reused in it may have been taken from the ruins of monumental Greco-Roman structures in the vicinity
