• Definition Brown loose soil in cut 901 and under wall 264, room 38
• Description This very small layer filled only a very small (exposed) area of cut 901 in room 38. The soil was loose and soft and contained almost no material. It was distinguished from its neighboring 780 by the looseness of the soil, though the color and texture of the soils were quite similar.
• Observations Since excavating this area, and removing the large stones that covered the northern portion of cut 729, we gave this northern portion a new context number - cut 901. 901, then, is the actual location of this small fill. 781 continues only in 901, and not in 729.
