Description
- CH06SR0885
- Grayish brown gravely layer in SE area 3, courtyard
- The dimensions of the context are approximately 2 M (NE-SW) X 85 cm (NW-SE) and 5-7 cm in depth. The grayish brown layer is mottled with white gravel inclusions.
- Slag was also recovered from context
Interpretation
-
- Very little pottery from collection - 3 frogs, all 12 - 13th century amphora fragments; perhaps use surface of court in this area at the 905 cut?
