Description
- CH04SR0411
- Layer of collapse in courtyard 1
- Layer consists of large to medium stones in a brown soil. The context is just NW of the NW wall in room 31a. The floor of the courtyard is evident in the profile left by previous excavations. Consistency a bit more compact than SR 411, but the color was the same.
- Concentration of ceramics, representing more than one vessel, and shell in the NE corner of the unit. Large concentration of tile along the north/ NW edge of the unit. The context seems to be seperated by a wall. In other words, it doesn't seem to be connected to the courtyard, but instead separate (this area eventually assigned room 37). Organic sample of sea grass taken from the western area of the context (just north of wall SR437).
