- Layer of yellow compact soil in S corner of NW part of room 38
- Distinct layer of yellow clay-like material in the extreme SW corner of cut 900. This layer was characterized by slightly more compact, yellow soil that was isolated in this corner and distinct from neighboring contexts in both color and consistency.
- As with all of the layers that surrounded pit 601, there is some level of doubt about their integrity. This patch, of them all, was clearly different material and was not found on the opposite side of the pit.
Interpretation
-
- This layer must be some settlement of the filling layers of cut 900. Though the material is certainly different from the contexts around it, there does not seem to be any reason for this particular small patch to be different - no particular architectural or different feature.
