  • Construction of Tomb 5
  • Rectilinear construction built of well dressed fitted stones, markedly different from other tombs built on this site. Coursed masonry, plastered. NE-SW direction. Inner dimensions 2.20 x 0.78 m. Outer dimensions are 2.64 x 1.24 m. Bottom was cut in bedrock.
  • Given preliminary date (6th-7th century) is based on supposition that cut in bedrock and its fill (con. no. 669 and 670) are in direct connection with building of tomb construction.

Interpretation

    • In this section of the site this is the oldest feature noticed till now. Its building predates the church whose NW wall was founded on the feeling of this construction.
